The ZDS Annual Meeting is a time to reflect on where we've been, consider where we want to go, and elect a board of directors to lead the sangha for the coming year. Everyone involved with ZDS is encouraged to attend and participate; those with full Voting Membership get to elect the new board of directors for 2023.

The schedule on this day will be as follows, and you are welcome to come for all or part:

• 7:25 - 8:30 Tea ceremony, zazen, dokusan

• 8:30 - 9:00 Quiet work practice

• 9:00 - 10:00 Sutra service followed by zazen

• 10:00-10:30 Social time - coffee, tea & light refreshments

• 10:30-11:15 State of the Sangha address, reports from the Circles, financial status, and election of board members for 2023

• 11:15-noon Group brainstorming and selection of physical improvement projects for the zendo*

* ZDS was recently given the gift of a substantial donation to help make needed improvements to the building/property. This discussion is designed to get everyone’s insights and agreement regarding what these resources should be focused on.
