Led by Dan Dorsey Roshi, the zazenkai is a half-day of intensive practice that includes periods of sitting and walking meditation, sutras (chanting), individual meetings with the teacher (dokusan), and teisho (dharma talk). The day begins with tea at 6:25 am, and culminates following the dharma talk at 3:30 pm.
Participants have the option of being in-person at the Tucson zendo or connecting from home via Zoom livestream. Breakfast and lunch are included for in-person participants.
